Car Seats - From birth up to 4 years
Our car seats suitable from birth up to 4 years of age are all fixed car seats. This means they cannot attach to the frame of your buggy. The benefit of them is that it will last longer than other baby carriers and they may also swivel. Swivel car seats make getting baby in an out of the car a lot easier and help parents that suffer with any back problems as you can turn the car seat to the side while putting baby in then swivel them into position instead of fully leaning into the car. These child car seats will go rearward facing and forward facing.
Our top four car seats for this age group would be:
- Maxi Cosi Axissfix Plus i-Size Car Seat
- Osann Rex Car Seat
- Mountain Buggy Safe Rotate Car Seat
- Maxi Cosi Mica i-Size Swivel Car Seat
The harnesses and head rests will all grow with your child. You will have an insert in the car seat for infants and take them out as your child grows. Our range are all fitted with isofix which is the safest.
Isofix car seats minimises the risk of incorrect installation. Baby car seats fitted using seat belts are often installed and used incorrectly. With isofix the extra support leg or top tether strap increases stability minimizes forward movement, keeping your child securely in place.

Brand new 2020 i-Size swivel car seat
The Maxi Cosi Mica launched at the beginning of 2020 and has quickly become a favourite among our customers. Maxi Cosi are known world wide for their safety standards and top of the range car seats. The new Mica is a 360° rotating car seat. It is an i-Size car seat so your child can be rearward facing up to 4 years. Having your child rearward facing is extremely important for at least the first two years because a rear-facing car seat will absorb most of the crash forces and supports the head, neck and spine. When children ride forward-facing, their heads - which for toddlers are disproportionately large and heavy - are thrown forward, possibly resulting in spine and head injuries
